This Disclaimer explains the purpose, limits, and proper use of the information, tools, reports, recommendations, and AI-powered features available through MeowMD. MeowMD is operated by AL WASI LLC and is designed to help cat owners better understand, monitor, train, and care for their cats through educational and awareness-based tools.

By accessing or using MeowMD, you acknowledge that the app does not provide veterinary diagnosis, treatment, emergency care, or professional medical advice. MeowMD is intended to support informed decision-making and early awareness, but it must not replace consultation with a licensed veterinarian or other suitably qualified animal-care professional.

This Disclaimer applies to all parts of MeowMD, including the Health features, photo-based symptom checks, wellness reports, Training Programme, Whiskers Chat, food scanner, reminders, trackers, MeowShop, and any other information or AI-generated content made available through the app.

Please read this Disclaimer carefully before using MeowMD. If you do not agree with it, you should not use the app or rely on any information provided through it.

1. Educational and Awareness Purposes Only

MeowMD provides AI-powered educational information, awareness tools, training guidance, wellness reports, reminders, product suggestions, and entertainment features to help cat owners better understand and monitor their cats. MeowMD is not a medical device, veterinary practice, animal hospital, emergency service, diagnostic laboratory, or professional animal-care provider. Nothing provided through MeowMD is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, confirm, or rule out any disease, injury, infection, behavioural condition, nutritional problem, or other medical condition.

2. No Veterinary Relationship or Professional Advice

Using MeowMD does not create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship between you and AL WASI LLC, MeowMD, its personnel, its AI providers, or any of its service providers. Reports, scores, responses, suggestions, citations, reminders, and other information provided through the app are not veterinary advice, a diagnosis, a prescription, a treatment plan, or a substitute for an examination by a licensed veterinarian. Only a suitably qualified veterinary professional who has examined your cat and considered its complete medical history can provide advice appropriate to your cat.

3. AI and Remote Assessment Limitations

MeowMD uses artificial intelligence and automated systems that may misunderstand the information you provide or generate inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, inconsistent, or unsuitable results. An AI response may sound confident or detailed even when it is incorrect. MeowMD cannot physically examine your cat, observe all relevant symptoms, take clinical measurements, perform diagnostic tests, or consider information that you have not provided. You must not rely on any output as confirmation that your cat is healthy or that a particular condition is present or absent.

4. Information, Images and Medical Records You Provide

The usefulness of an output depends on the accuracy, completeness, and quality of the information submitted. Results may be affected by missing or incorrect details, an incomplete medical history, inaccurate measurements, outdated records, poor lighting, image angle or quality, device limitations, connectivity problems, or symptoms that cannot be seen in a photograph. MeowMD does not independently verify the information, images, records, or descriptions you provide.

5. Health Quizzes, Photo Scans and Wellness Reports

Health quizzes, food scans, photo-based symptom checks, wellness scores, risk indicators, and reports are approximate educational assessments only. They are not clinical measurements or diagnostic findings. A photograph or questionnaire cannot detect every external or internal illness, injury, source of pain, poisoning, infection, breathing problem, neurological condition, or developing emergency. A normal, reassuring, low-risk, or incomplete result does not mean that your cat does not require veterinary care.

6. Emergencies and “Go to Vet” Alerts

MeowMD is not designed to receive, manage, or respond to emergencies. If your cat appears seriously ill, injured, in pain, distressed, or otherwise requires urgent attention, you must contact a licensed veterinarian or emergency veterinary clinic immediately. Do not wait for an app response, report, score, reminder, or alert. MeowMD may display a “Go to Vet” or similar call-to-action where submitted information appears consistent with a potentially serious issue, but this safeguard cannot detect every emergency. The absence of an alert must never be treated as confirmation that the situation is safe or non-urgent.

7. No Delay or Change to Veterinary Care

You must not ignore professional veterinary advice, delay an examination, cancel an appointment, discontinue treatment, or change any medication, dosage, supplement, diet, or care plan solely because of information provided through MeowMD. Where an app output differs from the advice of a licensed veterinarian, you should follow the veterinarian’s advice and raise any concerns directly with that veterinarian.

8. Sources and Citations

Health and nutrition outputs may contain references or links to external materials. These are provided for transparency and general further reading. The inclusion of a citation does not mean that the cited material supports every part of the AI-generated response or that the response has been reviewed or approved by a veterinarian. Sources may be incomplete, outdated, disputed, interpreted incorrectly, or unsuitable for your cat’s individual circumstances.

9. Nutrition, Food and Product Information

Food scans, ingredient explanations, feeding suggestions, and nutritional information may not account for your cat’s allergies, intolerances, age, weight, breed, pregnancy, medication, medical conditions, or individual dietary needs. Manufacturers may change ingredients, labels, warnings, formulations, availability, or recall status without notice. You must check the current packaging, safety information, expiry date, recall notices, and veterinary instructions before giving your cat any food, supplement, medication, or other product.

10. Training and Behaviour Guidance

The Training Programme provides general AI-assisted lessons and suggestions and does not guarantee any particular behavioural result. Outcomes differ depending on the cat’s health, temperament, age, environment, history, and the way the training is followed. Sudden or serious behavioural changes may have a medical cause and should be discussed with a veterinarian. You must use all training guidance safely and humanely and stop any activity that appears to cause pain, fear, distress, injury, aggression, or worsening behaviour. Where appropriate, seek assistance from a licensed veterinarian or suitably qualified animal behaviour professional.

11. Whiskers Chat

Whiskers Chat is an AI-generated companion and entertainment feature. It does not translate, identify, or reveal your cat’s actual thoughts, words, feelings, intentions, sounds, or needs. Responses written as though they come from your cat are fictional and must not be used to make health, safety, behavioural, nutritional, or welfare decisions.

12. MeowShop and Third-Party Products

MeowShop may help you locate, compare, or learn about products and offers from third-party sellers. A recommendation, ranking, description, image, price, or link does not constitute veterinary advice, certification, testing, approval, or endorsement by MeowMD. Product information may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. MeowMD does not manufacture, inspect, test, store, sell, deliver, or control third-party products and is not responsible for their quality, safety, legality, suitability, availability, pricing, delivery, returns, warranties, or performance. Any purchase is made directly from the relevant seller and is subject to that seller’s terms and policies.

13. Reminders, Trackers and Notifications

Trackers, logs, alerts, and reminders are convenience tools only and do not amount to continuous or professional monitoring. Notifications may be delayed, missed, disabled, duplicated, or affected by device settings, permissions, internet access, software errors, or service interruptions. You remain responsible for keeping accurate care records and independently confirming appointments, medication instructions, doses, feeding schedules, vaccinations, and other important tasks.

14. No Guarantee of Accuracy or Results

We aim to make MeowMD useful and responsible, but we do not guarantee that any information, output, score, recommendation, prediction, citation, product result, or training method will be accurate, complete, current, reliable, or suitable for a particular cat. We do not guarantee early detection of any condition, successful training, improvement in health or behaviour, prevention of an emergency, or any other particular result. Examples, testimonials, expected outcomes, or success stories do not guarantee that another user or cat will receive the same outcome.

15. Your Responsibility

You remain responsible for observing and caring for your cat, checking the information provided through the app, deciding whether it is appropriate to act on it, and obtaining professional assistance whenever needed. You are responsible for all decisions relating to veterinary care, training, nutrition, products, and your cat’s health, safety, and welfare. MeowMD should be used only as an additional educational tool and not as the sole basis for any important decision.

16. Service Provided “As Is”

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MeowMD and its content, features, reports, recommendations, and AI-generated outputs are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not make any express or implied warranty that the Services will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, fit for a particular purpose, or suitable for your cat’s individual circumstances.

17. Mandatory Legal Rights

Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes, restricts, or limits any warranty, consumer right, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

18. Third-Party Content in Reels

The Reels/Cat Feed section may display third-party video content sourced via official platform APIs (e.g., YouTube) or licensed stock/royalty-free footage libraries. MeowMD does not host, own, or claim copyright over such embedded third-party content; it is displayed under the respective platform's official embedding terms or applicable content license, and all rights remain with the original creators or platforms. AI-generated or commissioned original clips shown in this section are owned by MeowMD.
